<h3>Minimum qualifications:</h3><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>5 years of experience in project and construction management.</li> <li>Experience with commercial contract management and procurement.</li> <li>Experience in electrical and mechanical systems.</li> <li>Experience managing construction projects, within an international working environment.</li> </ul><h3>Preferred qualifications:</h3><ul> <li>Experience working with (data center) equipment/environments (including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems), with an understanding of start up/commissioning processes.</li> <li>Experience managing vendor relationships, with an understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry.</li> <li>Ability to build excellent relationships and deliver on action-orientated tasks.</li> <li>Ability to communicate in Finnish fluently.</li> </ul><h3>About the job</h3><p>A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. </p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>Manage a large construction site and delivery organisation, managing scopes related to construction projects or capital improvement projects.</li> <li>Be responsible for ensuring the development of detailed designs, managing construction (delivery, cost, quality and EHS), commissioning, close-out and hand-off to the operations team. Ensure all customer requirements are being met.</li> <li>Establish and maintain various delivery models and global relationships with multiple vendors.</li> <li>Create a growth plan and be involved in hiring/recruiting of talent in the areas of project management, field engineering, document control, technical writing, etc.</li> <li>Research and implement construction means and methods of data center equipment and facilities. Carry design concepts into mass production and integrate into facilities.<br></li> </ul>
